Former Chelsea FC footballer Samuel Eto'o has lent his support to The CNN Freedom Project's #FlyToFreedom campaign to help fight slavery.

The campaign asks people to make a paper plane with a pledge on it, share a photo on social media with the hashtag #FlyToFreedom, and nominate two friends to do the same. Journalists Fred Pleitgen and Kristie Lu Stout have also voiced their support for the initiative.
